Holy Cute Houses!

Have been thinking about getting the kidlets a playhouse in the garden.
1. Because they'd LOVE it.
2. Because they have some birthday money that could be put to great longterm use with something like that.
3. Most importantly for me its an independent play feature. With the slide and swings i have to be right there, pushing or stopping Sebs from falling, or throwing himself off the climbing frame etc... with the playhouse they could play whilst i was in the garden pottering.

Quick 5 min search and i found these for inspiration.

OMG...just saw this whilst pondering a few moments in flickr. Holy cute! And very cheap.
(I guess i'd have to rule it out if it was in the garden but so beautiful i had to show you.)

From this blog. About a very handy guy and his little boy. Lots of inspiration here. x

Gorgeous white playhouse seen at Creagenda.

Willow Chic seen at Ohdeedoh.

Ruby's amazing playhouse also here. Just love the sunflowers in their garden too. I would like to plant the kids sunflowers next to their house too. Adorable.

A day for a daisy chain

Today would be the perfect day for making fairy daisy chain crowns. If only the sun would come out. Isn't it magical how they walk and act differently with a daisy chain on their heads?

Yellow... still got it.

Yellow is still hot!

I could not be any more excited to go and watch it on Friday. Just wish i had a dress like SJP (and er...figure) to go and watch it in!

New Forest Houses

A few that made me smile.

Snapshots of a great weekend away

Last week we stayed in a gorgeous cottage in The New Forest, in the South of England.
It was divine. The kids favourite things...riding on a horse and cart and fishing in the forest.
My favourite, watching the deer from a lookout spot near the ornamental drive and watching the kids have so much fun. Lots of walking, running, muddy welly boots, wet welly boots, smiling faces, sunshine, rain and nature, fishing, laughing, playing cards, riding on a cart horse, a monorail, an open top bus and just a teeny bit of antique shopping!

FAVOURITE BLOG FRIDAY : Habitually Chic

Habitually Chic is one of those blogs that i check up on daily. Maybe because she posts daily and maybe because some of her posts are so awesome i can't even describe. (The American Closet/walk in wardrobe post an personal favourite!) It is mostly about interiors and it is very definitely chic. But i also love the snippets of fashion and style that ooze so incredibly through every picture and post. (Check out the Reese Witherspoon post too. I mean how cute is she. I think i'd like to put her in my pocket and take her home. )

Heather Clawson writes on the profile part of her blog:
"As a stylish young interior designer living and working in New York City, I am constantly surrounded by habitually chic people, places and things. I hope you enjoy my musings on art, architecture, design, fashion, photography, books, events, and everything else habitually chic!"

She has the most amazing knowledge of designers and artists that the pictures she manages to source for her blog are quite something else.

And yes i do enjoy it very much. If you haven't already seen it. I recommend it!

Secret obsessive love for 'My Scandinavian Retreat'

Ok kids, so not quite so secret. Here is a few more pics from Pippi's site. (My Scandinavian Retreat) I cannot stop looking and these pictures are probably more for my own future inspirations but as no one reads this anyway. Who cares?!

Sometimes i like yellow, sometimes i don't ...

And sometimes i LOVE it.

All pictures from the AMAZING 'My Scandinavian Retreat.' (Written in English too...thank you God for making this person!)

And as i was away and didn't get to do it on Friday. This is it. My favourite blog Friday for last week. I have actually lost days of my life looking at this blog....no, seriously. It's addictive.
