Dolls House: Before and After

Quick paint job and new carpets
We don't have much furniture as most looks too small but i managed to find a second hand Sindy bed. Just the same as the one i had as a child.
I can't keep Seb away and the Sylvannian families seem quite content with the gorgeous high ceilings!

Before
Bought for 99p on ebay...a total steal. It was Kitty's Christmas present but we just got around to doing it up. And it's REALLY big.  Like big enough for a small child to hide in, and handmade with wood and mostly i'd like to think indestructible but I guess we'll find out.

The best thing is that it really suits any size of toy being so big. Even Buzz and Woody feel at home here. I'm thinking now it needs some art and maybe some drapes?... More curtain fabric to choose then!

I adore seeing children playing with doll's houses, and I loved making one for each of my girls. The one you found is a really great size, the high ceilings make it so easy to play with!
