My camera has gone to camera heaven

...and i am a weeping mess in the corner.

 Apparently it had taken a 'knock'. A big one...not by me. But me thinks i am not careful enough at putting it away in high places. The camera guy literally had to rip off my lens that was stuck but the camera still didn't play nicely with a new lens. Apparently, not worth the cost of repairing ;(

Anywhoo...i'm on the search and my overdraft will soon be a weeping hysterical mess too then! I'm a Canon girl. Any ideas?

A few improvements

A little flurry of DIY around here. Surprising as this is definitely not Mr C's forte! A tidied entrance hiding school bits, gloves and hats and bike stuff, a TV on the wall in the kitchen ready for our new lounging area when the sofa comes and a blind up in place. Feels good.

 

Not sure on the cushions...on the lookout for something else and tempted to paint this back wall too. Hmm decisions!

 

Chalkboard/letter holder up...its been waiting nearly a year! We store shoes in the basket.

And we bid, won and collected this table all on Sunday morning from ebay for a steal. I'm hoping to stain or paint it for our soon to be lounging area. The kids just like crawling under it!

Yesterday my sister had her twins. Two boys...a big surprise! Both natural and the second one was born breech, bum first! I hope it's not a sign of things to come. He he. Anyway, i'm in a babyhaze. xx

So i bagged a spot on the lovely Kristi's Pay it forward. I am V. happy. I feel lucky to have her do something nice for me. In return, I have chosen to do the same on my blog. It's just to darn good an idea not to share. I think the original pay it forward idea might be a tad more complicated so i'm sticking to Kristi's rules.

I miss sunshine and flowers, nights in with the girls...but not ironing.

 

And dinners at home with my girls...must do this more. I remember this night from my old house.

Though quite clearly i don't miss ironing because i never did any before! ha ...that tablecloth is a tad embarassing but for all the time i save not ironing i cannot feel any real guilt!

Holiday dreaming

Recently we've being trying to book a holiday for before the baby comes in the Summer. This is one that we were tempted with but a bit to far out of our budget for this trip and the weather not so great when we want to go. But it has special facilities for people taking babies and children, a baby go lightly service, kids clubs, babysitting,  a spa for the adults and the style of an adults exclusive club. Drool.

 Definitely one to save for another trip. Almyra Luxury Spa Hotel in Cyprus.

They must have the ultimate in white stain remover with all those kids though! I reckon you could pick up some cleaning tips from them too?!

I remember seeing him when we took these photos on Boxing day and not since.
