Betsy rocks it again!
Hey you know Betsy Burnham...you know, the one with the killer office I posted about a couple of days ago?! Well check out the new tour of her kids bedrooms. I'm super loving the lamps.

3 foot people festival
Today i took the kids to the 3 foot people festival. It's a festival for kids in Chelmsford, Essex, England.
It runs every year for 3 days and is really hard to get a ticket. They sell out in hours.
It's a kid's dream. Marquee and tents full of soft play, storytelling tents, painting and craft making, water play sculpture, giant sandpit, mini farm, shows and imagination stations. It's a lot of fun and totally dedicated to pre school children under 5. Amazing.
Apparently they only have one in England and we just happen to lucky enough to live near it. Does anyone else have anything like this near them?

New Tablecloth
in guess what? My favourite combo of the moment, black and white.
Took a quick trip to Ikea yeaterday and saw this when buying some other fabric. I LOVE it. Actually i think it must be the same fabric that Isabelle used over at DOS Family to make her Picnic blanket and high chair cover .

Office Lust...missing office inspiration FOUND!!
Sigh. Found it! You know the room i was talking about here...
Just browsing through Lonny's 3rd issue and it hit me slap bang, wham bam, thank you maam. Don't know how i could have forgotten it. Betsy Burnham's office! Well here's the beauty. I'm sure you've all seen here before but personally i can never see this room too many times.

Paper Balloons
I found these Japanese paper balloons at Bambino Goodies recently and were blown away by
a) how cute they are
b) how cheap they are £2-3 each. And they are reusable. Bargain!
And that's not something I find myself saying anymore.
Great for kids rooms, parties, well anything fun and frivolous! I plan to buy some of the sea creatures for an under the sea party I'm already planning for one of my kids one day soon. What a beautiful party theme huh?!
But the panda melts my heart too.

Lounge Inspiration: My husband's comments
So I show him the pictures on my blog and say this is what i'm thinking for the lounge. That i was creating an online moodboard to try and pull together lots of ideas to help decide what we need to do.
Him : "Moodboard? Is that one of those words you've made up like Console table?"
Me: "but do you like it?"
Him: (frowns)
Me: grr sigh
Him: You know i'll like it when you do it.
(seriously he has NO vision and most of the time i have to admit he just doesn't care!)
Then...i knew it...
Him: and the cupcakes?
Seriously. Give me strength.

Ok so some of these aren't strictly lounges but you get my drift. We are budget tight tight tight at the moment and time even tighter so not sure when we will be able to do this little project but at the moment it feels like an itch i need to scratch!
